October 22, 2008

I am tired. I've been working an earlier shift than normal for the last few weeks. I have to get up at 4:40am to be at work by 6:00am. With a half-hour lunch, I should be leaving at 2:30pm. Unfortunately, it's been very busy at work, so I've been pulling in OT every day. I've been leaving between 3:30pm and 4:45pm almost every day. So, again, I am tired.

I found a few more sites that I found interesting. One is a game (sort of), but not quite worthy of Interesting Sites status. It's called The Eyeballing Game The Eyeballing Game in new window. If you're one of those people who has to straighten pictures hanging on the way, you'll love this thing.

The second one IS worthy of inclusion in the Interesting Sites list. It's called Television Tunes Television Tunes in new window and it's a library of TV theme music and songs. It contains both new and old theme songs and allows listening and downloading (in MP3 format) for free.

The third site is actually the most important, in my opinion. Electoral-vote.com tracks the most current polls for the presidential race(as well as senate and house races). As of today, the projected electoral college vote counts are Obama: 364 McCain: 171 and Ties: 3. They update as frequently as new polls come in (once per day). Instead of adding to the Interesting Sites list, I am adding a new icon (provided by Electoral-vote.com) to the navigation menu area. It provides the most current electoral college poll totals.

Drusilla, the Vampire Parakeet To the left, you’ll see Drusilla,
the Vampire Parakeet, named after
a character on Buffy the Vampire Slayer,
because she bit like a vampire.
She passed away on 12/20/04.
